Japanese Umbrella

Waiting on line with a Japanese Umbrella.

Anime boy and girl with big eyes

Rain on one side, and sunny on the other.

Big sunshine in the middle and flowers all around.

Definitely another standout!  ;-)

Thought this was a great planter.

Beautiful purple flowers coming right from Buddha's head.

Serene in so many ways! ;-)

Vibrant Fashion Colors

Wow, what a vibrant fashion display of color at Macy's!

This is bold.

This is fun.

This is exciting.

This is alive.

We're coming from the Covid dead back to the pre-pandemic life!

Take out your stimulus checks and get ready to spend.

There is still hope for humankind.  ;-)

Better Covid Mask

Now that's a better Covid mask.

Full coverage.

Nice golden shine.

No need to brush your hair or put on makeup.

And no one can tell your sleeping in meetings. ;-)

Born or Trained In Crazy

This was a funny sign at the store:

You don't have to be crazy to work here, we'll train you.

Some places they hire the crazies and other they train them to be crazy.

Perhaps, it's a bad culture or some bad applies, but either way they can turn good, caring employees into some more crazies to add to the office's bunch of bananas.

Fortunate is s/he who works in a normal, good workplace and can do "a decent day's work for a decent day's pay."  ;-)

What Type of Sick Puppy

What type of sick puppy puts a girl in a caged pen with the dog?

This was in a woman's clothing/fashion store in the local mall.

There is something really screwed up with people's thinking and our culture.

Even if this lady likes to pet the dog, this is horrible messaging!

We need a serious reset on how to treat women and show them proper respect!  ;-)

Beautiful Japanese Pagoda

Japanese pagoda signifying the elements of earth, air/sky, fire and water.

Beautiful integration of stone into natural surroundings.

Centered, self-reflection, mindfulness, enlightenment, peace.

You can see this at Morikami Museum and Japanese Garden in Delray Beach, Florida.

@The Amish Experience

It was a fun time at The Amish Experience today in Lancaster Country, Pennsylvania.

One and a half hour bus tour of Amish country.

45 Minute movie about Jacob, an Amish teen, trying to decide whether he wants to be in the outside world or in the Amish one.

And another hour of so tour of an Amish school house and home.

Felt like I learned a lot about their culture (including no TV, internet, electricity [just batteries and solar], and education only through 8th grade).

Honestly, it doesn't seem like they really have much a choice in whether to choose the church and become Amish or leave, because if they choose to leave they are shunned (i.e. excommunicated)!

So you either choose you family, church, community, and a wife (and there is no divorce) or you run off to G-d knows where completely alone and "divorced" from everything you know.

The video is when we stopped at an Amish farm and I went in to the big barn with all the cows.

After so much time on the bus, I needed to ham it up a little and have fun with:

"How now brown cow. It is so nice to eat you! You are beautiful animals.  And thank you Hashem for making you!" ;-)

@Macy's - Cool Minnie Mouse

Huge sales at Macy's today.

They seem to be trying to get rid of all the merchandise built up during Coronavirus.

On line was this stylish lady in an orange dress with a white handbag.

On her arm were happy, playful tattoos, including a Minnie Mouse with her tongue out on her upper arm.

Life goes on with Disney characters cheering us up with or without a global pandemic.  ;-)

Even Dogs Wear Masks

Even Sophie the dog wears a mask against Coronavirus.

- If giver doesn't wear mask and receiver does - 70% chance of transmission

- If giver wears mask and receiver doesn't - 5% chance of transmission

- If giver wears mask and receiver wears mask - 1.5% chance of transmission

That's doggie good statistics to avoid the Coronavirus plague.

People can learn just like dogs.  ;-)

Tunnel of Luggage

Tunnel of love?

No, tunnel of luggage.

Nothing comes out the same on the other side.

This is called bumps and bruises.

Still it's a long way to paradise. ;-)

Shopping Up A Pole

Wondering if this is also part of social distancing.

Shopping cart up a pole.

No one else up there.

Safe from Coronavirus, hopefully.

Maybe some illusive toilet paper to be found in the sky mall?

Desperate times calling for desperate measures or an anxious society is losing its mind. ;-)

Keep The F*** Away From Me

Social distancing is the new norm.

Shaking hands is a no-no!

Even in the park yesterday, they had a sign prominently displayed that read:
Thank you for practicing social distancing. Please stay 6 FT apart.

We might as well all just wear t-shirts or little reminder signs on each of us with:
Keep the F*** away from me!

That about sums it up without putting up a specific distance range. ;-)

Israel 2020: Day 1

So great today to be back in the Holy Land of Israel.

Every time we come, we can literally see how the country has matured and built up even more since just the short time before.

Of course, we arrived with a little jet lag but still managed to take a nice walk around the bustling streets of Tel Aviv.

The restaurants, cafes, shops, theaters, and culture here is awesome.

I guess the toughest thing is deciding what we want to do each day, but that is all part of the adventure.

See you tomorrow! ;-)

Celebrating The Holidays

This holiday outfit has got to win an award.

The matching suit and tie with all the decorative holiday ornaments.

The bright red shirt.

The tree hat with the star on top.

And the dark glasses.

Wow, standout city!

Where do you get clothing like this?

I wonder if I could do this with a menorah too. LOL

Happy Holidays to all.  ;-)

Holiday Earrings With Pizazz

These holiday earrings have loads of pizazz.

Watch them flash red from ear to ear!

The funny thing is no one else even notices.

What an awesome holiday fashion statement from The Nation's Capital. ;-)

Superhero Dress

This dress was a standout.

Superhero dress by D&G.

Comic style with the pow and bam!

I don't get the pig superhero logo on the jacket and other merchandise next to it.

Uh, who wants to wear and look like a pig?

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

D&G is off the deep end. ;-)
