Sharing the road with this rather large lizard in Fort Lauderdale. 

He ran right across my path, and when I say run, he can really run.

Then he stopped on the side of the peer.

I snapped this photo.

But as I got closer, he jumped (flew) into the water and swam quickly away.

Would NOT want to fall into the water and run into this guy in there.  ;-)

They are a perfect couple. 

Look like brother and sister.

In the dark, with a flashlight on their faces, I think I'd take some fright. 

And the pitchfork would give me a sharp little pause as well.  ;-)

What was really weird was that the advertisement on the side of the car was for a personal injury lawyer. 

Hopefully, the person(s) in the car came out okay and didn't need to call the "hurtline" listed.  ;-)

A wealthy country where "the roads are paved in gold."

This was a scary mother of a truck. 

It had Chucky perched spread-eagle over the front crash bumper. 

Imagine looking in your rearview mirror and seeing this barreling down on you. 

Chucky rules the road and he's coming for you.

It's too late to run and hide. 

He's gonna get you!

Consider yourself dead meat and it's not even Friday the 13th. ;-)

Teaching Kids To You Know What

This was so cute at buybuy Baby!

Mini toilets to teach the kids to go potty. 

The big pot can probably be scary for a little kid. 

Don't want them to end up falling in and whoosh!  

Ok, not funny!

Seriously though, these little training toilets are cute. 

Honestly, I think there are some adults that need some potty training too.

This is a candleholder. 

But in a bizarre way it looks almost like a toilet. 

The place for the candle is the toilet!

Sort of would make a pretty scary toilet in real life if the back of it (ie. tank) has a body with arms that looks like it is reaching out to grab you as you take your royal seat. 

Hey, someone let me out of here!

Ok, I have definitely been shut in too many days due to this Coronavirus thing.

Virus appears to be "reactivated" after person is already cleared of it.

91 patients so far!

Is this the result of faulty testing or is this not your typical virus???

Saw this at a doctors office in one of the patient rooms. 

At first I wasn't even sure what it was. 

Looks like a stomach.

What are those globs?

Oy, they represent malignant tumors (from what I understood reading the fine print). 

Really makes it hit home when you see it in front of you on display like that. 

So much suffering from illnesses like cancer.

G-d should have mercy. 

We really need to find "the cure!"  

Imagine what a day that will be.  ;-)

Weird Face Bag

This bag is too weird.

Not a man and not an animal--it's some sort of beast. 

It has a crazy face on it with a gnarly mouth and green bug-eyes. 

Is it watching for pickpockets? 

Wonder if it bites the hand that tries to go inside the purse. 

I can't look at this thing anymore.

Morning Commute in DC

I took this photo a while back on the Metro to/from Washington, D.C. 

It combines the seemingly normal person on the way to/from work listening to music and reading the newspaper with wearing a pretty scare face mask. 

It reminds me of the horror movie, "The Purge," where people are permitted one night a year to commit crimes and murder others "legally" as a venting mechanism for social unrest and to help eliminate crime and criminals. 

Sitting across from this guy, you're not really sure if he's gonna finish reading the paper and walk off the train all nice or get up and start wiping people out left and right. 

Big cities in the U.S. can be scary places, and the mass transportation systems are one of those places where you don't always feel safe. 

Maybe a mask is just a mask until G-d forbid, one day, it isn't.
