Creepy Crawler

Check out this creepy crawler spider.

He literally came down a thread from the ceiling and landed here on the floor.

Sort of blends right in!  ;-)

Where Are You Pointing That Gun?

If you're sitting in this chair and smoke starts coming out between your legs, I guess you'll know why.

Comfy In The Airport

Sure, make yourself comfortable,

Take your shoes off.

Put your feet up.

Wrap your legs around some luggage.

Recline and put your head back into the pillow.

Put in your ear buds and listen to some music.

Have something to drink.

Take a few extra seats.

Relax and enjoy.

Flying the friendly skies.  ;-)

Stairs Without Legs

I don't think you can easily walk up stairs without legs.

Maybe these ladies should take the escalator!  ;-)

Cut Off The Legs And Call Him Shorty

Who knew, it's actually a song by Louis Armstrong.

It comes after:

"Shave off my hair and call me baldy."

They don't make them like they used to.  ;-)

Comfy Legs

Those legs look comfy in the chair.

Cross, uncross, cross.

Of course, the dress pants and shoes aren't so comfortable.

Do clothes really make the wo/man?

Here, there's no real clothes or should I say person to speak of.

Clothes is better than a fig leaf for Adam and Eve.

Much of clothing is just "look your best" and try to "feel good" vanity.

The soul is what really makes the person.  ;-)

Cycling In Multicolor

Something about this drawing at a local kosher restaurant really stood out.

The weird cycle with the exaggerated extra big wheel in front.

The crazy looking skinny bodied person with long arms and legs and wild hair sitting on top.

The bright green, blue, orange, and yellow colors.

It just made me laugh at the whole thing.

It's not exactly art, but it sort of is.  ;-)

Short Man Tall Man, What Do You Say

This was a comical picture.

Almost like from Dr. Seuss.

Short man and tall man.

Actually a whole step taller.

Guy on the left, little stubby legs.

One on the right, long long legs.

When you're on a ladder, I guess it doesn't matter.

Frog Ready To Spring

Cool photo of this frog in motion and ready to spring.

You can really see his leg muscles in action.

It's amazing all the different and wonderful creatures that Hashem has created.

Thank you G-d for this amazing world you have created for us.  ;-)

Israel 2020: Day 5

Went to the Holon Design Museum (south of Tel Aviv) today.

They had exhibit called States of Extreme.

I found some really cool exhibits and ideas there.

Sort of felt my mind being expanded by it, which is I suppose one of the purposes of going to this.

Two of my favorite from today:

1) The chair with people legs and

2) The Fanuc robotic arm feeding the baby in the crib.

Hope you enjoy these as much as I did.

And Shabbat Shalom to everyone from the Holy Land!

Helpless And Helping

The following is all true.

So I dreamed last night a scary dream...

I was lying prone in a horizontal but bent position.

My clothes were tattered rags and my legs bare.

I could see my legs, but could not move them--at all.

The bottom of the legs by the ankles were completely skinny, diseased and bright sore red (like burnt), and the skin was falling off them.

I knew I was in immense pain, but could not feel anything.

My legs completely useless, in hopelessness, I looked upward and called out:

"Father! Father! Father!"

I was looking for my dad (who I know deeply loved me and vice versa), and hoping for him to come and help me somehow.

Then, my voice turned and called:

"Father that art in heaven" and repeated this again.

I was turning to G-d as the only one who could help me when everything else was stripped away.

Then I awoke, and I was very afraid and yet somehow comforted--I had turned heavenward and found G-d.

Later this morning, I went to the pool for a swim and as part of my post surgery rehabilitation.

As I was swimming, I saw an old somewhat hunchback lady come to the pool.

I recognized her from other days when she does a little self-defined exercise routine against the side of the pool.

But today, her lane at the sides were taken.

Seeing that she was upset and couldn't do her exercise in the center of the pool, I stopped swimming and went over to her.

I said, "Why don't you share with me (there is plenty of room)?"

She hesitated and I could see maybe she needed help getting under the swim rope that divides the lanes, so I lifted it for her and told her reassuringly, "It's no problem."

And then she went under and did her exercise thing--and we shared.

It was such a small thing for me, but yet I could see it was a big deal for her--she was old and I could tell that she needed her routine.

Sort of funny but, when I offered to help, I could practically here the angels of heaven let out a little song of joy--seriously, I did.

And I thought to myself...Andy, you can learn!  ;-)

Respect The Legs

I took this photo of this statue of a lady perched up high on a column.

It's an interesting (yet in my estimation a somewhat demeaning) view of femininity as demonstrated by the relatively small body, but oversized crossed-over legs.

Perhaps the artist thinks this is sexy or provocative...

Or maybe it's just a relaxing pose with head high and back and arm behind her head.

Either way, you've got to respect those legs, and of course, the woman. ;-)

More Than Just Legs

This was a funny photo that I took of a sculpture of legs sitting in the arm chair--and it is supposed to represent minimalism.

No need to show the body, because the legs alone convey the message.

To me though, this reminds me of the opposite of minimalism, where instead of showy, sexy legs--these are covered fully and crossed respectfully--overall sitting upright and quite modestly.

It reminded me of beautiful Jewish concept called Tzniut, which refers to people dressing and acting modestly and in private.

There is no need to show it all--but rather, to be someone, it's what you do, not what you look like and expose.

In this way, these legs are enough to convey the concept of modesty--of man or women--if you can just see the whole person and not just their sexuality. ;-)

Butterfly Beauty

I took this photo today while hiking.

I reached a summit and when I stopped to take some drink, I saw this amazing butterfly.

The butterfly looked very peaceful and was resting on some leaves.

Its wings opened and then slightly closed and repeated this as if coinciding with the butterfly's breathing.

The butterfly extended its legs and they seen to just be hanging out there--suspended in mid-air--this was something I had never seen before.

And beneath, you can actually see the shadow of its wings and legs on the leaf below.

Thank you G-d for showing me this beautiful sight of your magnificent creation. ;-)
