The Price of Silence for Harvard and MIT
Please see my new article in The Times of Israel called "The Price of Silence for Harvard and MIT."
The author criticizes top American universities, Harvard, the University of Pennsylvania, and MIT, for their moral inaction in condemning Jewish genocide and supporting Hamas terrorists. They argue that their inaction is not serving their First Amendment cause but demonstrates a lack of basic moral values. They urge universities to condemn genocide and terrorism, act in their self-interest, and consider the impact of history on their actions. They urge them to choose the path of goodness, respecting humanity, their well-being, and the Divine judgment that awaits them all.

A Disgrace On The Democrats
They have become the new hate-mongering party!
Progressives no way.
Their bigotry, racism, and hatred are taking us backwards.
Their members' attack friends, allies, and patriots of this country.
And these bigots are worshipped and placed on the cover of Time Magazine.
To the 3,000 that were killed on 9/11, it is a disgrace.
To this great nation, it is bringing us down from being a light unto nations to ushering in darkness and prejudice.
Shame on Pelosi and Schumer and the other democrats who are allowing extremism and hate to dominate their agenda.
First they hated on Trump
(Ilahn Omar even hated on Obama!)
Then they hated on Israel and the Jews.
Who are they coming for next America?

New York Times' Credibility Is In The Toilet
They predicted one thing, but were completely wrong.
However, it wasn't only their predictions of a sweeping Trump loss that were incorrect, but also that their biased, schlock journalism was professionally and ethically wrong!
Over and over again, I read the harshest of criticisms of Donald Trump, especially from the New York Times--endless rantings about him week after week:
From Nicholas Kristof:
- Trump's actions are heinous
- Trump is a misogynist and sexual predator
- Trump is a charlatan
- Trump is a crackpot
- Trump is a shallow egoist who uses people
- Trump is for pariahs like ISIS, North Korea, and KKK
- Trump is mean
- Trump is a liar
- Trump is a racist
From Frank Bruni:
- Trump rants
- Trump makes corrosive conspiracy theories
- Trump is sickening
- Trump and his people are pathetic
- Trump is a narcissist
- Trump is irredeemably sexually perverse
- Trump is crude
- Trump is unfit
- Trump is unpatriotic
- Trump is hot-tempered
Does the New York Times really call this journalism, and do they expect people to pay for this one-sided nonsense?
It used to be we could go to an esteemed newspaper like the New York Times and get real investigative journalism, and a real analytical and balanced approach to issues--we could learn something and be better off for it.
But unfortunately it seems that the New York Times became exactly what it feared the most--it became biased, bigoted, and hateful.
The articles over and over again were full of shameful name-calling, insinuations, and coaxing people that they needed to vote for one candidate over another.
It wasn't just an endorsement before the election, it was a barrage of months of superficial and venomous, hate-filled spew and characterizations by liberal journalists against a conservative party candidate--irrespective of what his true capabilities were and hope that he could bring to reinvigorate this nation.
Of course, candidates should always be condemned for any bias or stupid things they may explicitly or implicitly do or say, but that is an opportunity to set the record and candidate straight, not unilaterally take them out back and shoot them, while giving the other candidate a free ride on corruption, collusion, and lies.
Over time, people saw right through it, and it became clear that the media was absolutely biased, divisive, and trying to fix the election results for one candidate.
The damage to the credibility of the media is done, and before readers renew their next subscriptions, they need to vote with their wallets with the same internal deliberation and soul searching as for their candidate. ;-)

Congressman Hank Johnson Infested With Hatred
Unfortunately, this is why Congress does not get the respect it deserves.
Anti-Semites like Congressman Hank Johnson (Democrat-Georgia) are not only hateful and discriminatory, calling Israelis and Jews "termites."
But Congressman Johnson actually questions whether Guam, an Island of 209 square miles (and U.S. territory in the Pacific with a strategic U.S. Naval Base), is going to "tip over and capsize" in the Ocean.
It seems like Johnson has a huge issue with termites in terms of both calling people disgusting and derogatory names and thinking an entire Island--almost twice the size of the city of Atlanta--is going to capsize, as if from a big problem of termites.
This just demonstrates how being hateful and dumb truly go together!
What a disgrace on our esteemed Congress of this great country of the United States of America.
No wonder the big problems of this country are not getting appropriately addressed and solved, there are too many people on the Hill infested with horrible hate in their hearts and minds. ;-)

Plastic Pigs
It's between the West Coast and Hawaii.
And it's called the Great Pacific Garbage Patch.
Get this...
It's about twice the size of Texas.
Now researchers are predicting that by 2050, our oceans will hold more plastic than fish!
"More than 8 million tons of plastics end up entering our oceans each year."
And we're dumping the equivalent of one garbage truck of plastic into the ocean every minute.
Just 5% of plastic waste gets recycled.
So far there is a 165 million tons of plastic trash in the ocean right now.
The plastic pieces can survive hundreds of years.
We are making a darn mess of this planet.
The 5 cent surcharge for plastic bags is a joke in this respect.
Maybe ISIS actually won't be the end of Western civilization, but plastic will be.
Who's paying off whom to keep this plastic money wagon going to poison our planet? ;-)

Stop Harassment Now
"If It's Unwanted, It's Harassment."
Only a day or two later, some ladies came to me complaining that they had been harassed on the Metro.
Apparently, they had been on the platform waiting for a train and a young man was first staring at them, then coming around them menancingly, and then following them.
Thank G-d, they got away, but it was a frightening situation that left them wanting to actually move away.
Residents in the metro D.C area and customers of Metro should not have to ride in fear.
We need more police and surveillance cameras on the Metro system now!
Signs are a great reminder, but law enforcement action is what is really needed and called for. ;-)

From Hymietown To Chickenshit
In 1984, Rev. Jesse Jackson (later the democratic Presidential candidate) referred to the Jewish people and New York as Hymietown.
Roll forward to 2014, and we have "senior administration officials" who have called Israel's heroic Prime Minister Netanyahu a "Chickensh*t."
In 1624, Rembrandt painted this beautiful work from the Bible of Balaam riding on the way to curse the Israelites.
The problem for him was that an Angel of G-d stood in his path--his donkey saw it, but not Balaam! (Numbers 22:21-39)
In Genesis 12:3, God says to Abraham: "I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse."
Of course, the Israelites have to be deserving of this and act according to G-d's word and by a strict moral code.
For those who act shamefully, with arrogance before G-d, and unapologetically, and use their political platform to name-call, curse, and degrade Israel, no man ultimately needs to answer this, G-d provides the answer himself.
Kudos to House Speaker John Boehner for speaking up against this grotesque, "disrespectful rhetoric" unbecoming the leadership of the United States of America.
Congress should take up a vote unanimously condemning these disgusting, derogatory, Anti-semitic remarks--for those who bless Israel shall be blessed! ;-)

From Hymietown To Chickenshit
"Chickenshit"?
Yes, it's in the Washington Examiner today.
Forget about being completely rude and disrespectful--how utterly impolitic!
Sinking to new political lows globally with our friends and allies--while the ratings sink (and sink) to new lows for these politicians.
Imagine, Israel Prime Minister Netanyahu defends his nation by putting real boots on the ground in Hamas-run Gaza for the 50-days of fighting rocket barrages and terror tunnels, and builds apartments in Jerusalem, the Capital of Israel--Sorry, that is not Chickensh*t.
While domestically, we have been seen as in full global retreat, abandoning our bases in Iraq and Afghanistan, carpet bombing from the air in Syria and not punishing chemical weapons use (remember the "red line"), leaving key portions of Ukraine in the hands of Russia, seeking to forge WMD-losing deals with the devils in Iran, and watching the situation deteriorate as we "Pivot East" to Asia, and as we all know, much more.
- Finanically--we can't balance a budget,
- Ebola Epidemic--we can't put together a sensible quarantine policy (while the States fill the void)
- Imigration--we can't muster a realistic bill
- Veterans--the scandal of not caring for our veterans is still scathing.
And the list goes on, virtually without end.
Horrible name-calling and snubbing leaders on the world stage, let alone of our best allies and friends, is not only politically immature, but morally disgraceful--but psychological projection is a very real possibility.
