Kissing Pliers
That's handy this tool.
When you squeeze the pliers closed, the man and woman embrace.
Pucker up! ;-)

Lips on Display
Thought this was an interesting lip display at the pharmacy.
And under it, is says:
Lip Bar
What's a lip bar?
Uh, Chapstick and lip gloss!
Just give your customers a kiss and don't charge them a copay today. ;-)

Romance Watch
Couple meet on a bridge in Paris.
Lady with umbrella on the left tells the hour.
Man on the right tells the minute.
They move together towards a kiss.
Very romantic!
Beautifully done with fairytale theme.
This Pont Des Amoureux Jour watch in rose gold and diamonds is only $122,000 (excluding sales tax).
What a bargain! ;-)

Lipstick On A Dog
Interesting business card for Dog Walkers.
Not sure what they mean by:
I've heard of lipstick on a pig, but never on a dog!
Playing dress up with a dog?
As they say, only in America. ;-)

Not A Kiss
So I learned a lesson recently.
Sometimes, a kiss is not a kiss.
It could be a phony show.
Like a snake.
It slithers and fools people into complacency.
Kiss kiss!
Hug hug!
But around the back is a hand holding a dangerous dagger.
It stands ready to swing and plunge into your soft unsuspecting tissue.
The more kisses, perhaps the more hiding of their true intentions.
People are complex and sometimes malevolent.
They want what they want, and when they want it.
When the time comes, a kiss can turn into a sharp knife.
You wonder how is it that person has no more kisses. ;-)

Ooh That Is Good
Hey, congratulations to Roger Federer on winning his 19th tennis championship.
It's an absolutely awesome level of athletic achievement and it's definitely something to celebrate.
But when I saw this photo of him and his trophy in the paper this morning, it seemed over the top!
Whenever someone sets their mind to something, works really hard, and is thank G-d able to achieve it--that is something to be happy about and enormously grateful for.
Hey, listen, I understand there are some real superstars out there and I respect them!
However, seeing this guy clutching his trophy in both hands, smelling it, kissing it, and more...it looks to me more like idolatry than the pure, sweet smell of success.
I get it--he worked super hard, achieved impossible things, and deserves to savor the incredible moment--no one is taking that away from him.
Instead of that gold trophy, wouldn't you rather see him kissing his wife and children, thanking G-d (and his coach maybe), and saying things like how he will continue to use his success and earning to help others or maybe train the next generation of aspiring athletes.
I applaud Federer more for his known philanthropy in helping disadvantaged children and doing charitable events for disaster victims than for winning his 19th championship (hey, 18 would've been fine too).
In the end, self- (and trophy-) love and admiration is not the something to celebrate, but should instead point us back to character and using our strength and achievements to help others.
For what is really important in life, there is no earthly trophy for--and certainly not one worth any ultimate embrace. ;-)

Kiss One Another Day
So with all the divisiveness and hate in this country (and the world) lately...
I thought we need a day to celebrate, accept, and love each other.
Let's call it:
Liberals and Democrats - give each other a kiss.
Christians, Jews, and Muslims - give each other a kiss.
Men and women - give each other a kiss.
Straight and LGBTQ - give each other a kiss.
Old, middle age, and young - give each other a kiss.
White, black, yellow, and brown - give each other a kiss.
Races and nationalities of all kinds - give each other a kiss.
Those with and without illnesses and disabilities - give each other a kiss.
We are all G-d's children, so it's time to stop the crazy hate and fighting.
Love each other, work together to advance the world for everyone, and give each other a big, fat, heartfelt kiss - and maybe we can make the day into a lifetime!

Kiss Me Where
OMG, so I had a major mess up last night.
I go to a Sephardic synagogue and they have a custom of not just shaking hands, but kissing (not really) each other by sort of tapping each other first one cheek to cheek and then the other side.
So this lady friend comes into shule (with her fiancee who walks away for a moment) while the dancing is going on with the Torah for the holiday, and she makes the signal moves for the cheek to cheek greeting to me.
But this whole custom is still sort of unfamiliar to me, and I mess it up big time!
I must've turned my head to the left when I should've turned right or something, and rather than end up cheek to cheek, I end up in this very awkward lip on lip kiss with her.
(Oh shit, that didn't just happen, did it?)
We both sort of jump backwards, and my wife is standing there in disbelief cracking up at the whole thing.
This lady quickly turns away, and I quickly turn the other way, and I am just looking up at the ceiling thinking what did I just do. ;-)

Ocean Waves (Take 60 Seconds To Enjoy)
I took this video of the ocean waves coming unto the sandy beach (some seaweed included).
60 seconds of pure calm and peaceful tide.
Today, they finally took down the purple flags that indicate dangerous marine life, so we were able to go in the ocean and really enjoy.
The rhythm of the ocean waves, the sun tanning our skin, the warm relaxing water, and the people playing and laughing (and some kissing).
Thank you Hashem for this wonderful day and the beautiful world you created for us to partake of--blessed are thou!

A Jewelry Kiss
No, they are not really made out of chocolate., but they are in the shape of chocolate kisses!
There are different colors based on the gemstones of the person's birth month.
There are also similarly rings and necklaces in the shape of the Hershey Kisses.
What a nice way to tell someone you love them and give them a jeweled, if not chocolate, kiss. ;-)

GW Valentines Day
These posters of George Washington were plastered everywhere and each one had the big kiss lips on it as well as some provocative saying penned on its forehead.
This one in particular sort of got right to the intimate point saying "My place or yours?"
I believe this was the student's attempt at humor and hopefully meant no disrespect to good old GW.
Anyway, kids will be kids--they celebrate in all sorts of interesting and innovative ways.
Happy love to you and yours! ;-)
