Pool Poop Galore

So I was at the pool going swimming, doing my laps.

It was very busy there with lots of people of all ages.

All of a sudden, I hear some screaming.

Then the guards come over and tell people they have to get out of the pool, pronto!

There's been an accident.

No, not someone getting hurt.

Someone had a bathroom accident in the pool.

The director of the pool is going around explaining to the inconvenienced swimmers that:
"Someone pooped in the pool."

Not exactly an eloquent way to say it, but it gets the point across.

What is worse, it was on the side of the pool where the adults were swimming!

Next come the lifeguards with the nets and they are literally scooping swathes of this sh*t out of the pool.

I see it literally spans almost a half length of this olympic pool.

What a crappin' mess.

Luckily I got almost all my swim in--yes, I am dedicated!

And then took a long hot shower with tons and tons of soap. ;-)

Yom Hazikaron (Memorial Day) @JCC Rockville

Memorial for the 23,741 fallen soldiers and 3,150 victims of terror.

Brave, strong, and dedicated to the survival of Israel.

May their memory be a blessing!

Also a beautiful video my daughter, Minna sent to me.

Bringing Down The House

I love this silver sculpture of Samson.

And one of my favorite stories and Biblical characters.

Samson was dedicated to G-d from birth and was an enormous warrior.

Even when he was betrayed, blinded, and bound, he maintained his ultimate faith in G-d.

He prayed that he be given the strength one more time to bring justice to G-d's enemies.

And that's when he pushed against the pillars and brought the house down on them.

On one hand, a tragic figure that trusted and was fooled by the beautiful Delilah, but a completely heroic man of great integrity, who believed in G-d and in vanquishing his enemies.

Look to the Heavens for your strength and G-d can grant you the ultimate strength to achieve your mission in life and even in death. ;-)
