Short of Closet Space
Of course, you hang your clothing on a tree!
Calvin Klein shirts too.
I wonder what happens when the squirrels come out. ;-)

Graffiti Over Urban Blight
It's a city in gross decay and it needs help.
"This land is your land. This land is my land."
This land needs a serious helping hand.
A wealthy country where "the roads are paved in gold."
But the inner cities are crying out in poverty, crime, and neglect. ;-)

A Birdhouse For Every Bird
It feels like there are almost more choices here for a birdhouse then variations in dwellings you can buy.
Even if it just a little paint; sometimes that can make all the difference.
Frankly, it's not even that important how big or small, just as long as you have a decent roof over your head.
In our crazy world, we can have a birdhouse for every bird, but still we don't have homes for every person.
Homelessness and poverty, whatever your race, color, or identity is still a big problem.
Birds live in birdhouses, but many people still live on the streets. ;-)

Artsy Bike
Like a newspaper, it's black and white and "read" or actually rode all over.
How much time do you give a bike like this before it gets stolen on the streets downtown?
D.C. seems to be getting even worse than before, now with Coronavirus and the riots.
Doesn't feel safe, and it's in definite need of an urban makeover from all the horrible poverty and homelessness. ;-)

Trends In Homelessness
This photo is taken not far from the Capitol building in DC.
The homeless are not living in tents in the dead of Winter.
As the people pass by, under this particular overpass were no less than 4 tents.
While millionaires and billionaires splurge on themselves, so many people continue to go without adequate food, shelter, clothing, plumbing, healthcare, education, and jobs in America.
When G-d looks down and see the unsympathetic wealthy next to the downtrodden poor--and many of the wealthy act like insatiable pigs, while the poor go hungry and cold--shall the L-rd that judges all the earth not do justly?
Yes, there should be incentives for people to work hard and contribute, but when the wealth is skewed so that more than 50% of all the wealth is owned by just the top 1% of people and the top 1% own more than the bottom 90% of the population--we have a system that is not just broken, but grossly unjust and inhumane.
Corruption is alive and well, and who is there among our leaders to stand up and say and do what is right by G-d children?
