Gorgeous Fall Leaves

Wow, gorgeous fall change of colors for the leaves.

It almost looks like the tree is golden, heavenly and floating.

We're so lucky to get to experience the wonders of nature.

Thank you G-d!  ;-)

Abstract Golden Art

Thought this was a standout abstract painting.

Gold, orange, blue, pink and the geometric circles.

What does it all mean?

IDK.

But it catches my eye. ;-)

My New Sneaks

These were my new sneaks for like two hours.

I loved them in the store.

My stylish and lovely daughter helped me pick them out.

Nike bright orange--cool, fashionable.

"Just do it!"

But when I tried them on, I didn't have socks, and had to use the ridiculous thin ones in the store.

The sneakers were snug and I asked for a larger size, which they were out of.

I took the sneakers anyway, hoping they would be okay when I got home, but disappointingly, they were way too tight.

And "the give" that the saleslady said would happen with the sneakers, absolutely didn't.

My foot was being crushed in there.

I think Nike's run small.

Like the look, but not the sizing.

Anyway, saw three people playing soccer in these (or something close to it) the same day.

Orange is the new black. ;-)

Alien Orange Vacuum Cleaner

I love this art in Jerusalem, Israel.

These big orange overhangs from the lamp poles look almost like big vacuum hoses that are ready and going to suck people literally off the streets.

Can't you just see the people in mid-air suction, arms and legs flailing all around, yelling "Hey, what's going on around here!"?

Hopefully, they don't end up on an alien spaceship somewhere with some weird creatures wanting to explore about us or even use us for food!

Okay, this is what I call Purim spiel--fun for the holiday celebration today.

Seriously though, those orange things are great. ;-)

Worth The Squeeze

I like this saying that I heard.
"The juice has to be worth the squeeze."

It's a little like the corollary to "If something is worth doing, then it's worth doing right."

Spending time and effort has to show commensurate meaningful results or why the heck are you doing it?

Probably always good to reevaluate where you're getting the "most bang for the buck," so you're not "just spinning your wheels."

With all the sayings about what we do and whether it's really worth it, there is probably some good reason to be concerned about whether or not you spending your time productively or just acting insane, because:
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

Results matter--so make sure your achieving them or go do something else you enjoy and that's ultimately worth the squeeze! ;-)

Orange Spiral, Going Up

What an absolutely gorgeous staircase.

A modern spiral with vivid orange and white.

When I look at this, it's almost as if the staircase is in motion, like a spinning drill bit.

The person sitting to the right of the stairs seems like they will be swept away or crushed in the next spin of the stairs.

Next to the big windows, the incoming light hits the stairs and creates shadows that give it even more life.

Excellent job by GW University in their new Science and Engineering building.

You'd expect to see something like this in the Museum of Modern Art...it's awesome! ;-)

Yo Mama!

Thought this was cool.

This guy's bright orange bag on the Metro this morning says:

"Hello My Name Is"

And he wrote in "Ask Yo MAMA!!"

How 1960s, yet very present day.

It also matches his orange and white hat and white BEATS earphones and orange coat.

It speaks volumes...I like it! ;-)
