Seeing Red!

I can't help but see red.

Red is the color of an apple and a strawberry

Red is the color of blood and fire.

Red is when you unfortunately lose money or go broke.

Red is a can of Coke and the planet Mars.

Red means you got something wrong on the paper or exam.

Red sneakers, that's okay too.  ;-)

Vitamins R Good 4 U

I like this advertisement for Vitamin Water.

It is on the side of a dispensing machine.

The colors, the flavors, the energy brands...all very appealing.

Their "Zero" drink is especially good for the calorie conscious of us.

My desk draw is full of these...chug a lug. ;-)

Credit Card Cola

This is great--finally soda vending machines that take credit cards.

No more looking for change or losing your cash in the machine.

Plastic takes a another win!

Electronic and mobile payments will put hard currency out of business--sooner or later. ;-)

The Sprite Shower

The photo comes from a site called CollegeHumor, but there is also a pretty cool video on YouTube.

This is some very clever marketing, indeed.

Coming to a beach near you...the Sprite Shower.

Looks like like the soda fountain at your local restaurant.

Except you are the cup!

On the hot sandy beach with the Sprite Shower cooling me down and washing me off...

I think I'll reach for a cold one too. ;-)

Coca-Cola, the maker of lemon-lime Sprite, has some of the best marketing minds in the business--Coke still is it!

The H2O Coat

Awesome coat called the Raincatch that catches/stores rainwater and purifies it for drinking.

Designed by students at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design (CIID).

The collar of the coat catches the rainwater.

The water passes through a charcoal and chemical filtration system.

Purified water is then stored around the hips of the coat where it can be distributed and easily carried.

A straw is built in and provided for easy drinking.

I like this for its functionality as survival gear and its practicality as a user-centric product.

One thing I would add is a place to put the Coca-Cola syrup to give it a little extra pick me up. ;-)

Very cool--good job!
