Automation By Gloves
Everything is so automated these days.
Here's a hydraulic oil machine.
And you see no people.
Just some blue gloves.
If you look long enough, perhaps you'll see the gloves move and work the machine all by themselves.
That's the magic of automation and computerization.
Say hi gloves! ;-)

Boots Of Many Colors
Similar to Joseph and The Technicolor Dreamcoat, these boots come in a virtual rainbow of colors.
Honestly, not sure who would actually wear something like these.
I think them gaudy except as a sweeping fashion statement by someone fairly spectacular who could carry it off.
Perhaps another show featuring the dancing Rockettes, doing the long row of eye-high kicks could be quite a sight in a managerie of these colorful boots rising and falling.
Kick 1-2-3. Higher and higher. Red, yellow, and blue. ;-)

Eyewash Smiley
Had to take a second look at this eyewash station with the bright yellow caps.
I suppose this is good if you get something in your eye(s) and need to flush it out.
Are the yellow caps supposed to be for keeping the faucets clean and unobstructed.
Whole thing looks a little like a face: the yellow caps are the eyes, the big center faucet is the nose, and the sink basic the big mouth.
Maybe just my imagination, but I think it's saying "there are too many cooks in this kitchen, get the h*ll out!" :-)

Beautiful Teapot (Just For Looking)
Just wanted to share this really beautiful yellow and flowered teapot.
Love all the shapes--the pyramid base, the curly spout, the circular handle, and the little round ball at the top.
Like most nice things, it's too beautiful to actually use.
(Almost like a million outfits in my closet that I never wear, because I don't want to mess them up...)
This is where design trumps functions--and I would rather look at this and enjoy it as art more than drinking another cup of tea! ;-)

Cabs R Colorblind
This was funny when a cab pulls up to the curb in Washington, D.C.
And some people walk out from the building and get in.
Call them and they will come.
It's a black and deep orange vehicle.
On the side of the cab is the name, "Yellow Cab Company."
Now why would you paint yourself a (fleet of) orange vehicle(s) and call yourself a yellow cab company?
At least back in New York City, taxis really were yellow--and they were really taxis and had a medallion to prove it!
These days, car ride services like Uber drive around with "U" sticker in the window, where the U is practically closed at the top.
And Lyft cars have that cute, but ridiculous mustache on the front grill.
Taxi services are desperate to get a brand that customers will recognize and want to call.
No more lifting you hand and index (or middle) finger on the street curb to hail one of a blizzard of cabbies racing down Main Street.
Now it push button easy to ride a yellow, blue, red, or orange cab--with or without mustache--anywhere you want to go.
But the more things change, the more they don't stay the same---Next stop already is driverless cars. ;-)
