Thanksgiving Beach
Everybody is getting ready for the beach.

Don your bathing suits.
Set up the chairs.
Get the inflatables ready.
Jump into the ocean waves.
Who needs turkey on Thanksgiving. ;-)

Rocks in River
Sitting by the river.
Letting my mind relax and drift off in serenity.
Throwing some rocks into the water.
Watching the ripples cascade out.
Mind is at peace.
World is all good. ;-)

Ocean Waves Electric
Thought this was pretty cool at the Boca Museum of Art.
Electronic Ocean Waves.
Mesmerizing and calming.
And all in bits and bytes.
They also had a display of black and white photos of the ocean waves.
But it was a little too sterile for me.
I like nature and nurture in perfect harmony. ;-)

Ocean Waves (Take 60 Seconds To Enjoy)
I took this video of the ocean waves coming unto the sandy beach (some seaweed included).
60 seconds of pure calm and peaceful tide.
Today, they finally took down the purple flags that indicate dangerous marine life, so we were able to go in the ocean and really enjoy.
The rhythm of the ocean waves, the sun tanning our skin, the warm relaxing water, and the people playing and laughing (and some kissing).
Thank you Hashem for this wonderful day and the beautiful world you created for us to partake of--blessed are thou!

See It Change
This was a pretty cool effect at this hotel (The Sonesta) in Fort Lauderdale, where we stopped to cool off for a few minutes.
In the lobby, they have these wavy lines over the entire walls and doors where you come in.
But what is even better is that the lines change color.
Here you can see three pictures of a door in the lobby.
One minute they are pink, next orange, and then yellow.
The funny thing is I barely noticed it when I was there.
It is was such a subtle change.
Maybe that's the way to make change really take in your life--incrementally, rather than violently and abruptly.
Then instead of withdrawal and personal convulsions, you have a new and hopefully better you! ;-)

Skiing The Rainbow
After the rain stopped finally, we got to go jet skiing off the Ft. Lauderdale beach.
The waves were insane though...
The instructor tells us, "Oh be careful, because the waves can turn the jet ski over--especially when you're coming in and out--and it weights 900 pounds!"
Trying to get on this thing with the sand shifting under my feet and the waves making this thing flip up like a bucking bronco--let's just say that I had more than a few second thoughts.
But for my daughter's sake, we went forward--BTW Rebecca, you were very brave and I thank you for making me do these things and come out of my comfort zone.
It was a scary, but amazing time, and a spectacular rainbow came out for the event (in fact, it was a double rainbow, which I had never even heard of).
Being a bunch of city kids, this was an awesome sight for us.
Thanks to my wife for taking the short video of our journey today, and thank you to G-d for bringing me to this moment.
