Couple Arguing Loudly About Sex and Pregnancy On The DC Metro {Funny}

This couple is arguing loudly in front of everyone on the Metro in Washington, D.C.

She claims the coming baby is his, and that he needs to take a paternity test.

He says it's impossible that it's his because she's 3 months pregnant and they haven't had sex in 5 months!

This goes on and on in a most hilarious and boisterous way, and they even try and involve some of the innocent bystanders on the train.

Always a show in this crazy town and it's not just the politics! ;-)

Time For The Cruise Missiles

It is high time to stop being bystanders while our military is forced to stand mostly idle in the face of the heinous crimes against humanity occurring in Syria over the last 6 years and half a million dead!

Today, at least 70 people, including 10 children were killed in a chemical weapons attack on Syrian civilians.

In 2013, Syria killed at least 1,500 in what was the unbelievable fiasco of Obama's disappearing red line on the use of such weapons of mass destruction.

Unfortunately, we can ill afford to tolerate the irresponsible use of these dangerous weapons--chemical, biological, radiological, or nuclear.

President Trump needs to show strength where Obama showed only weakness.

It is high time to light up the cruise missiles into the heart of Damascus--goodbye Presidential Palace and then some.

Aside from redrawing the solid red line against WMD and punish the Assad regime's criminal activity, we will also put Iran and North Korea on notice not to underestimate or mess with us.

We must act, before the nuclear ICBMs and suitcases rain into American cities.

Now is the time to correct the mistakes of the past and reset our national security for the future by restoring the peace through strength. ;-)

Bystanders Standing By

So I was on the Metro train coming home from the office.

I was sitting on the left side of the car (riding backwards--which I hate)

And a lady was sitting on the right side of the train (also riding backwards)

She was stylishly dressed, but also honestly a little seductive in a short skirt, knee-high boots, and bare legs.

There was a older man sitting across from her (facing forward and facing her).

At one point then some really weird stuff started to go down.

This guy gets up and starts staring at this lady--but not just the lady, specifically at her legs.

But it get worse, he turns his head sideway--this way and that--very obviously trying to look under her skirt.

These were not kids mind-you, but grown adults--and this behavior was not only unexpected, but completely shocking.

There are lots of other people around, and it seems like no one knows what to make of this guy or even cares.

Then he inches closer, as if to get a better look, and get this--100% true--he starts to sniff at her.

It was so scary to see this guy on the train acting all perverted--obviously some sort of serious sexual predator.

My mind starts racing into whether I should get up and be prepared to confront him, so he doesn't hurt this women, or if there is enough time, can I call for the cops.

But before anything else could unfold, the train pulls into the next station, the double doors open, and he quickly hops off.

I turn my head to look at the women to make sure she is okay, and I see her breath out a deep-sigh of relief.

This could've been really bad--he could've tried to attack her in broad daylight or even follow her off the train.

The funny thing was that I didn't see anyone say or do anything about it or even pay attention to the potentially dangerous situation unfolding that was obvious.

The people were all around, but the bystanders were just that "standing (idly) by" and in no way seemed to pay any notice or they just didn't want to get involved--it was like complete apathy.

I hope for everyone's sake--that people really do care and pay attention when there is danger about--and that it's not just everyone for themselves.

We are much stronger together, than when everyone is apathetic or just looking out for themselves. ;-)

Meeting Busters, Come On Play Nice

The Wall Street Journal (16 May 2011) had a interesting portrayal this week of the various types of people that tend to spoil meetings.

From low to high on nuisance level, these were as follows:

1) Jokesters--"cracks jokes, appropriate or not."

2) Ramblers--goes on and on and often off topic.

3) Dominators--dictates to others with their opinions.

4) Naysayers--derails progress with negativity.

5) Plotters--passive-aggressive undermines decisions.

From my experience, I would add a few others (in no particular order):

6) Politicians--focuses on coming away looking good instead of on resolving issues.

7) Positioners--vies for a bigger piece of the pie, whatever flavor it is.

8) Honorees--comes to take all the credit, and politely thank everyone for their support.

9) Bystanders--shows up, but can't or won't contribute anything of value.

10) Bewildered--unsure even why they are here, but were told to just show up.

11) Malcontents--they are unhappy and they show it, so who cares anymore.

12) Socializers--shares personal tidbits and whispers about where they want to go lunch or for happy hour afterwards.

For all the meeting attendees out there, life is not a box of cherries, but you don't have to make it the pits! ;-)
