Invasion USA
There's an invasion going on here.

This dragon is swooping over the side of this building.
It's not Hollywood, but downtown Santa Fe.
Shoot it with your laser blaster!
Or else he'll gobble you up and spit out your broken bones. ;-)

Artful Window
This is a special window.
Blue and white flowers around it.
Surprised no one thought of that before.
A window isn't just to look out of from inside, but also decor to marvel at from the outside.
Windows work two-ways! ;-)

Grass Not Always Greener
Sometimes the grass isn't (always) greener.
Instead the grass grows in beautiful multi-colors.
The grass art in this garden looks a lot better than the grass itself.
The only real green is money and envy!
When comparing your lot with others, make sure you're comparing apples to apples and oranges to oranges.
Even then you'll never know the person's real "package" (or basket) in life.
Be sure that everyone has their share of good and bad, so never be jealous of anyone. ;-)

Diamonds And Opals
I like the big diamond in the middle surrounded/lined on both sides by more diamonds.
What seemed really special was that it was inlaid in a setting of beautiful blue, green, and red opal gemstones.
I asked the jeweler how much this ring was...
Couldn't believe the price tag for this was $35,000!
Probably a little steep for most people, and not exactly traditional, but in my mind, it was definitely a stand out. ;-)

Iced Pool BUT Hot Tub
So I learned this vacation that some people really seem to enjoy temperature extremes.
These folks on the left are in the outdoor steaming hot tub.
However, see the pool next to them on the right--it's nearly completely frozen over (and it would be except for a fireplace at the other end of the pool deck)!
The temperature outside a frosty 19 degrees fahrenheit.
Yes, for those who know me...I keep the air conditioner on in the Winter (true).
But even I didn't bare it all in Santa Fe in December--at least not yet! ;-)

Going For A Healing
First day in Santa Fe and there was so much to see.
By afternoon, my wife said she was tired and wanted to stop in an "Oxygen Bar."
Good Jewish boy from the Bronx, what do I know from Oxygen Bars?
So they had these cool health tonics, soothing music, beautiful artwork, oxygen therapy, and...
In the back, they did healing treatments!
So my wife tells me I should do this.
Ah, why do I want to spend money on healing treatments?
She jumps up, goes over and talks to the owner, and comes back and says "Okay honey, she is going to give you a sampler."
A what!
I hem and haw, but my wife doesn't take no for an answer, so I reluctantly go to try it.
Well...
I really enjoyed it.
From spa-type treatments to spiritual healing.
I had a smorgasbord of some light massage/reflexology, oils, sprays, rocks, branches and leaves, warm wet cloths, figure eights with a dream catcher, angels and animal spirits, and even prayers said.
The very nice Jewish owner, Kadima Levanah, spoke about releasing your energy, having compassion on yourself, doing your best, starting anew, and having a full healing.
By the end, I was smiling and feeling a lot more stress free--even though my wife tricked me like usual! ;-)
