That's a Hairdo
And choose your color: blue, pink, or yellow.
Who doesn't want to have that much hair again. ;-)

Japanese Umbrella
Anime boy and girl with big eyes
Rain on one side, and sunny on the other.
Big sunshine in the middle and flowers all around.
Definitely another standout! ;-)

Beautiful Bonsai Tree
The way it is on one hand natural and on the other hand "sculpted" by people.
Sort of a metaphor for life, where G-d gives us the raw material and asks us to go do good with it.
G-d creates and people shape that creation.
Beautiful partnership makes a beautiful Bonsai! ;-)

Beautiful Japanese Balloon
Asian landscape of mountains, trees, and with cranes flying overhead.
Red, yellow, and black tones make for a striking look.
When this floats overhead, there is no missing its origins. ;-)

Beautiful Japanese Print
Her pink eyeshadow and lipstick as well as the red dangles in her hair really standout.
She looks mysterious and at the same time familiar.
Asia brought to the U.S. and it's intriguing to say the least. ;-)

Party Balloons!
Really, they are part of an exhibit from the Hirshhorn Museum.
But boy do they make a statement.
Big, pink, and with polka dots.
They are the king of the party. ;-)

Artechouse = Art + Tech + House
This place was really cool in Washington, D.C.
Artechouse = Art + Tech + House.
Great immersive technology, art, music, dance, and light show.
Highly recommend it!
This exhibit "Lucid Motion" was by Japanese artist Daito Manabe X Rhizomatiks Research.
They also had a nice augmented reality display.
Had fun with the clan.
Hope you enjoy!

Time To Mellow
This beautiful Japanese garden is way better to look at then the lies, denials, and cover-up that SAR and their public relations cronies are posting.
Anyway, tired of their bullsh*t and you should be too.
Enjoy the beautiful Japanese Garden.
Compliments of one of the prior child victims of SAR Academy.

Fortune Cookie Generator
"If your cookie still in one piece, buy lotto."
Hmm, what cookie is this referring to? And why should I buy lotto?
So I start to think that this is likely a computer-generated garbage fortune--i.e. the artificial intelligence makes no f*ckin sense!
Anyway, you will be fascinated to know that the modern fortune cookie with the paper fortune inside the hollow of the cookie was invented in California.
However, the Japanese put something like this in the bend of the cookie already in the 19th century.
Using this fortune as an example, I have this gnawing feeling that the Japanese fortunes had a lot more intellectual substance to them.
Anyway, someone tell this lame cookie fortune teller that Lotto is way out and Powerball is in and where the real winnings are. ;-)

X Marks The Spot With A Dot Dot Dot
Unfortunately, they were out of passes for this special showing, so I could only grab a quick photo or two.
But I was amazed at how splashes of dots and color can make such am amazing impact on a room.
Futuristic and yet surreal.
Everything in the room--walls, floor, chairs, tables, fixtures, and ornaments--had the design elements on them.
The only thing that didn't were the people checking it out and what a contrast that was.
It felt like being in the fantasy world of Willie Wonka and The Chocolate Factory or something amazing like that.
It is no surprise that people were lining up out the doors for tickets to this exhibit.
What an spectacular vision for the world--so happy, so magical and so wow beautiful! ;-)

Seaweed Success Diet
Part of the success of my diet.
This is us checking out at register.
The cashier is tallying up dozens of Wasabi Roasted Seaweeds.
The stuff is a great healthy snack.
I had read for years now how the healthy Japanese diet includes plenty of seaweed and fish.
And I have been imitating their knowledgable ways.
And it is working, thank G-d.
Of course, the wasabi flavor gives it a little kick too.
Do yourselves a favor and get rid of all the disgusting carbohydrates in your life.
They are poison from an industry that wants you addicted to their garbage foods.
Get back to basics like fish, meat, vegetables, and that includes plenty of seaweed. ;-)

Japanese Cuisine Through Sheltered Eyes
Actually, I shared it with my wife who checked that the stock was kosher--the lady said bonito--and my wife said, good.
I'm a Jewish kid from the Bronx--what do I know from Miso Soup.
So about the only thing that I can tell you about the soup is what a fishy taste!
I know it's supposed to be really good for you--and that's why I even tried it.
But the closest thing that I can compare it to is the when my mom used to boil the wrapped gefilte fish in water before Shabbat--well the leftover water that gets discarded--that's what in my imagination Miso Soup tasted like.
Would I get it again?
Let's just say, I wouldn't run to get it--however, for good health, I may hold my taste buds and sense of smell of all the fishy stuff in abeyance, and just drink in down.
In general though, I really like some Asian cuisine--for example, with vegetarian dishes things like Kung Po Tofu and Mo-Po Tofu or Crispy Eggplant and Vegetables in Fried Rice.
The other thing I really like is the innovative Japanese Ramune "marble soda" in which you push out a real marble from the spout into the bottle and it rolls around inside while you drink the refreshing fruity flavors (don't worry, it's not as dangerous as it sounds).
Last thing, I'll mention is that I won't eat sushi--raw fish seems like it's primed to give you a nice big stomach ache--now this reminds me of another type of dish in Jewish tradition and that's herring (often served with cream sauce) and prominent at many a Ashkenazi kiddush served after synagogue services.
With the Sushi, if they can somehow manage to cook it for me and use kosher fish, okay--otherwise, I'm heading to the nearest Chinese Kosher Restaurant for some nice Sesame, Kung Pao, Moo Shu, or Lo Mein with Beef or Chicken. ;-)

Anime Kicks Butt
They have these amazing characters that any kid would like to have.
With swords, shields, guns and well-honed fighting powers, these champions are ready for battle.
This one was at Barnes and Nobles for $34.95 this holiday session.
If I was still a kid, I could wrap my imagination around this, and help save the world from all the evil and stupid characters out there--unfortunately, both fictional and too often real. ;-)
