Don't Forget To Brush
How's that for a great reminder to brush your teeth.

Not so subtle though, right?
Man, what a pair of choppers!
I'm brushing. Believe me.
Don't have to show me twice! ;-)

Wow, Not Bad For A Toy
A toy is a toy and this one really is, but a Porsche is not a toy!
Design is an art, whether for cars, homes, fashion, and more.
Those that get design right make things not only functional, but incredibly beautiful.
And when function and design come together in perfect harmony that is no toy! ;-)

Scary Model of Cancer
Saw this at a doctors office in one of the patient rooms.
At first I wasn't even sure what it was.
Looks like a stomach.
What are those globs?
Oy, they represent malignant tumors (from what I understood reading the fine print).
Really makes it hit home when you see it in front of you on display like that.
So much suffering from illnesses like cancer.
G-d should have mercy.
We really need to find "the cure!"
Imagine what a day that will be. ;-)

The Apollo 11 Mission: 50 Year Anniversary
Remembering the Apollo mission that landed a man on the moon on July 20, 1969 (50 years and 1 month ago yesterday...sorry, I'm late on this post).
Thought this model (scale 1:48) of the command ship and lunar lander in the NASA store was perfect.
It truly is miraculous that Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldin made this journey.
In just 8 days, they made the round trip between the earth and the moon, traveling about 240,000 miles each way.
And they walked on the moon for about 3 hours--I want to try that!
Even until today, the U.S. remains the only country to have actually put men on the moon (total of 12).
"One small step for a man; one giant leap for mankind."
Now it's high time that we get ourselves to Mars already and colonize it! ;-)

An Arrogant Model Who Defiles The Holy Temple
Please see my new article, Naked Before G-d, in The Times of Israel.
And like the Sotah in the bible, who drinks of "the bitter waters" for defiling the sanctity of her marriage, Ms. Papen will most certainly come to see the consequences for her defilement of the most sacred place of Judaism.
I wouldn't want to be her, seriously! ;-)

"In such a G-dly place [as the Kotel], where we are all spiritually naked for our actions before our Maker, [Belgian model,] Ms. Papen displayed not soul, but her haughty flesh."

Emphasis On The Eyes
Really liked this picture that my daughter, Rebecca, showed me in Vogue Paris.
The lady has this amazing tattoo around her eyes.
The way the lines come out and around, flowing from the ends of her eyes, is so awesome.
The dark and exotic swirling emphasis around the blue eyes makes her look deep, mysterious, and undeniably sexy.
Mike Tyson and his facial tattoo has nothing on this model.
Also, reminds me of when Rebecca, as a kid, asked me joking around, "What does Y-E-S spell?"
Okay, how easy is that, "YES."
Then she said "What does E-Y-E-S spell?"
And not thinking, I fall for it and blurt out E-YES.
Man, you don't know how to spell EYES--stupid, stupid, stupid! ;-)

New And Hip
Well almost, anyway--this is a small-scale model of one.
About 300,000 people per year benefit from this procedure in the U.S.
Thank G-d for such medical advances.
I don't know what people did in earlier times having to live with the pain and loss of function and mobility before they had this available.
My father always told me that the doctors are G-d's messengers and they only know and can do what G-d tells and enables them to do.
In that sense, a good doctor is really an angel of G-d's mercy.
It's amazing and miraculous! ;-)
