Party Balloons!

Now those are some party balloons!

Really, they are part of an exhibit from the Hirshhorn Museum.

But boy do they make a statement.

Big, pink, and with polka dots.

They are the king of the party. ;-)

Using Drones To Stop Terror Balloons and Kites

Please see my new article in The Times of Israel called "Using Drones to Stop Terror Balloons and Kites."
It is not hard to imagine Israel developing drones that can effectively deal with the terror balloons and kites. If a drone, can hover for extended periods overhead, go on GPS or remote-controlled operational missions, and can even be used to “take out” terrorist targets or other drones, then certainly they can intercept, capture, redirect, or destroy the flaming balloons and kites that the terrorists are sending to kill and destroy.

Israel and the IDF not only have the fundamental technical and scientific knowhow with both drones and missile defense, but also they have the motivation, with G-d’s help, to save the lives of the Israeli people as well as the beautiful and holy land of Israel. ;-)

It's Time to Stop The Terror Arsonists

See my new article in the Times of Israel.

"Please Don't Burn Israel Anymore"

From Incendiary kites to flaming balloons, the Palestinian terrorists of Hamas need to give up their hatred of Israel and the Jewish people, and embrace love for the land and peace with their neighbors.

Hope you enjoy the article.

Protect the Holy Land!

Extra Special Delivery

I took this photo in Washington D.C. of a bicycle messenger delivery with Valentines Day treats.

He was carrying an assortment of balloons and gifts (those are hiding in the basket under the balloons)!

What do you think chocolate, flowers, or something even more romantic?

There is enough hate and hostility in the world.

It's wonderful when love is in the air and people show each other that they really care.

Going home from a day at work, and what can be nicer than someone waiting for you when you get there. ;-)

Rock Into Space

Very excited by news in the Wall Street Journal on advances for Space Tourism.

Paragon Space Development Corp is developing a space helium-filled balloon to take us into the wild-blue (and black) yonder.

The balloon will be as wide as a football field.

It will transport 8 people to an altitude of 18 miles, high enough to move around for about 6 hours and get a "panoramic view of the globe without having to wear space suits of don oxygen masks."

The cost will be about $75,000 per person--which seems almost doable for middle class folks who want the ultimate travel experience.

In contrast, Virgin Galactic will rocket passengers 60 miles high where customers can experience weightlessness for about $250,000.

Other ventures are developing offerings of trips to the International Space Station, an orbiting hotel, and even the moon.

I think it would be so awesome to experience space travel and see G-d's creations in a whole new perspective-filled way.

It's amazing, we are so small in the realm of things, yet we fallaciously think we are so big. ;-)

An Approach To Teamwork That Isn't Hot Air

The team took a couple of minutes of downtime to rejuvenate.

Ever creative, they drew a smiley face on some celebratory balloons.

Up over the air conditioner, and the balloons danced literally all day long.

One person is waving their arms to show no strings or anything holding it up.

For a terrific team that works really hard, it was nice to see them laugh it off a little.

Cost what--2 cents? And it made everyone happy!  :-)
