Country Landscape

Wow, it's almost like being there.

Can you feel it?

It's a nostalgia to get away from our big cities.

And to live in the land and nature at peace with ourselves and our Maker. ;-)

Beautiful Bonsai Tree

Something genius about a Bonsai tree.

The way it is on one hand natural and on the other hand "sculpted" by people.

Sort of a metaphor for life, where G-d gives us the raw material and asks us to go do good with it.

G-d creates and people shape that creation.

Beautiful partnership makes a beautiful Bonsai!  ;-)

Beautiful Japanese Balloon

Pretty amazing Japanese balloon.

Asian landscape of mountains, trees, and with cranes flying overhead.

Red, yellow, and black tones make for a striking look.

When this floats overhead, there is no missing its origins. ;-)

Awesome Hot Air Balloons

Hot Air Balloons are so awesome!

Dreamy, drifting into the sky.

Flying away with a birds-eye view.

Looking near and far across the landscape.

To the sunrise and the sunset.

Calm, coasting, and carried by the wind.

Fire breathing into the balloon.

Up, up, and away.

My beautiful, my beautiful balloon! ;-)

Beautiful Solar Power

Thought this was a beautiful rendition of solar power.

You can have energy.

And you can have art.

Here you can have both.

It's functional to harness the sun's energy and it's designed to look sleek and fit the landscape.

Nice job by Florida Power and Light (FPL)!  ;-)

Where Are We Going

Just thought this was an awesome provoking painting.

To me, it begs the question of where are we going in our lives.

The terrestrial landscape combined with the light at the end of the tunnel effect as the sky is provocative and at the same time almost hypnotic.

It also makes me feel the enormity of the universe versus the smallness of just a man.

I see myself standing on the red hilltop looking into that big sky and wondering about so many things.

In the end, believing that we don't have all the answers, but that we are in G-d's good hands. ;-)

Cats of Israel

Just wanted to share these photos of some lovely cats from Israel.

There are so many cats just roaming the streets, shops, gardens, and alleyways.

These don't run from people, but are part of the landscape itself.

Almost like a soul in each one that is living a peaceful life anew in the Holy Land. ;-)

Country Landscape

I like this beautiful painting of a countryside landscape.

The vibrant fall colors of reds, oranges, yellows, and browns.

The tops of the houses and steeple jutting up from the lush foliage.

The bluish-green mountains in the background, the wavy blue water lined by white sand on the upper left, and the light blue sky with clear white clouds at the very top.

It's a little bit of Heaven right here on Earth.

Where peace, prosperity, and health are abundant and prevail.

G-d should bless us.

Taking A Turn At Photography

I took this photo with a simple iPhone.

Couldn't believe these flowers were on the corner in Washington, D.C.

I love how some of the flowers have their petals facing up and others down and some with a mixture as if they are in midst of  changing directions--almost like they are in motion.

I also like the different shades of pink colors, and then in the upper right corner are even some with yellow and white causing the eye to slowly sweep in and out across the landscape.

Maybe I'll try some more photo's for my blog in the future.

Do you think I should?
