Where Are You Pointing That Gun?

If you're sitting in this chair and smoke starts coming out between your legs, I guess you'll know why.

Happy Chairs

These Margaritaville chairs are really happy.

Sunshine, palm trees, swimming pool, and a nice cold drink on a hot day.

The chairs say:

It's five o'clock somewhere.

But definitely not here in Florida where it's party all the time!  ;-)

Lipstick On A Chair

This is what happens when you get lipstick on a chair.

What a great place to get your makeup done!  ;-)

Threaded Blue Chair

This threaded blue chair was not only really good looking, but comfortable.

Although getting in was easier than getting out of it!  ;-)

Flags and Rugs, Odd Combo Platter

What an odd combo.

We sell Flags and Rugs

Maybe like Michelle Obama said:

When they go low [with rugs], we go high [with flags].

Oh, that's what she meant!

If the store ever expands, they can add:

And we sell everything in between (like furniture).

Low, high, it's all making me a little dizzy today. ;-)

My Big Kahuna

So my new massage chair came today.

Kahuna LM-7000 in this amazing red color.

It was awesome how the chair came completely assembled.

Just plugged it in, jumped on, and started it up.

I was lying back in a spaceship reclining position getting kneaded, tapped, knocked, and shiatsu'ed.

This was better than I had imagined it would be.

I am hoping this helps with aches, pains, and sleep.

I've got my big Kahuna now!  ;-)

Now That's A Deck Chair

Love this new deck chair, finally!

Life is good!

Keep it simple!

Have a pillow to match.

Last chair in stock.

Grabbed the floor model.

Reminds me of the Patagonia brand.  ;-)

Overpriced Desk Chairs

I went on this website for some deck chairs.

They had this nothing of a chair called the Harborside for almost $500. I was looking for 2 chairs, so that would've been a whooping $1,000 almost.

After a while on their web page, a chat box came up asking if I needed any help.

It was funny because the guys name was Jake, as in the commercial, "Hi, this is Jake from State Farm!"

Anyway, I must've been annoyed at their ridiculous prices and I had this farce of a dialogue with Jake.

Jake: Hello, We see you are checking out.  Can we help in any way?

Me: trying to download a 25% off coupon...can you assist?

Jake: We don't have any coupons or discount codes.

Me: Just overpriced then.  {smiley}

Me: Why do you charge so much for such cheap merchandise?

Jake: It's grade A teak which is the highest quality grade you buy but go on.

Me: It's a tree! Why should I pay $1000 for 2 small desk chairs.  There is plenty of tweak in the forest for free!

Me:  Can you explain?

Jake: *Teak. You're more than welcome to grow your own forest and make these but you'll have to move to a warmer climate. You can educate yourself better with our guide here [and he attached a link].

Me: Hmmm. Would you pay $1000 for thee little wooden chairs.

Me: Also, I'm pretty educated.  TY

Jake: Yes, I have 4 on [my grandmother's porch]

Me: You didn't pay $2000 for 4 chairs for your grandmother's porch.  NO WAY!  I bet you got a big employee discount.

At which point, the chat box quickly bleeped off the screen!

Jake from State Farm...you didn't really buy 4 chairs for your grandmother for $2000 did you???  ;-)

Recliner Stuck

So yesterday, there was a huge pouring thunderstorm and lightening.

After a bolt or two that must have hit our power line, ALL the power went out.

That was not fun when sitting in an La-Z-Boy electric recliner chair.

Where the f*** is the safety release on this thing when there is no power?  ;-)

Great Chair and Ottoman

Wow, love this RED chair and ottoman.

The chair practically reaches out to grab you.

And the ottoman is an almost perfect ball.

Like two pieces that were made to be together.

You can't help but sit down, get comfortable, and have the best rest of your life!  ;-)

Ferrari Motor Furniture

This was very cool.

The first is a coffee table for the living room.

The second is half of a nice desk.

Both are made out of working Ferrari engines.

The coffee table goes for $50,000.

And the desk goes for $75,000.

I will told that this is a bargain based on what a working Ferrari engine goes for.

In a sense you can take your table for a spin around the block...LOL.

Truly the engine (and not just design of the car) is a work of art.

It merits being a centerpiece of your office or home. ;-)

Magnificent Room Divider

Wow, this is a completely amazing room divider.

The brilliant colors and the vibrant circular swirls make this outstanding to take in.

So simple in a way, yet it brings so much magnificence to any space.

Staring into this has an almost heavenly effect of traveling through that final tunnel before reaching the heavenly essence of light at the end of it all. ;-)

Everyone Loves A Good Massage Chair

What can you say, when you see these luxurious, zero gravity, massage chairs?

Yes, ah, that feels so good!

Seriously, you know you want to try it.

Yes, you do.

And you even want to take one home.

Costco's got these.

You've seen others at Sharper Image at the Mall.

They're not cheap.

This one was like $4,299.

Can you resist the urge to splurge on the ultimate in comfort and relaxation?

Take off your shoes. close your eyes, let yourself drift away.

It's a better place. ;-)

B&N Chairs Are The Pits

So if you ever go to Barnes and Nobles, you'll see that they have the most horribly hard wooden chairs.

They are so  uncomfortable--many people seem to rather sprawl out on the floor to browse the magazines and books, rather then get a butt bender in those darn chairs.

Some other people that I've seen now have resorted to placing cushy stuffed animals on the chairs to ease the discomfit on the arse!

I took this picture of someone's chair by the window with 2 stuffed animals left over after what must've been a much needed cushion liner on the the bare wood.

[BTW, sorry for whoever buys those sat on, smelled on stuffed animals afterwards--ew!]

The question is why invite people in to browse and sit--if you are only going to make them so uncomfortable.

Ok, I get the implicit message, "You can read for a few minutes, but otherwise buy something or get the h*ck out!"

And not that they are wrong (they aren't), but why resort to making people physically uncomfortable and forcing them to leave instead of making everything welcoming and encouraging shopping and sales.

Barnes and Nobles--a nice place to visit for 20 minutes as long as you have some stuffed animals for your butt--but Amazon will reign bookstore supreme. ;-)
