Seems To Really Work

Stubborn Stain Remover.

For stubborn stains.

It is what is says it is!

From what I can tell, it really works.  ;-)

Who Wants to Clean That Pot

This is just one of the reasons I don't like cooking.

Who wants to clean that pot?  :-)

Take Off Those Shoes

So this was pretty funny.

We have a sign in our house that people should take off their shoes when they come in.

Heck, it's part of being a neat freak and somewhat germaphobic.

But of course, the kids invariably don't follow the house rules and we get the shoe dirt all over.

And guess who has to always clean it up?

Well the other day, my daughter was looking to purchase a condo, and when she found a place she liked, she was walking around the apartment and saying:
When I have my own place, everyone is going to take off their shoes.

Hmm, when the place is yours and you have to clean up the messes, all of a sudden the house rules are in effect and big time.  ;-)

Old Pool Out, New Pool In

So the pool is getting a major makeover.

That's what happens when it starts to get some cracks.

It had to be drained a couple of weeks ago.

Then they came in with drills and have been ripping up the pool and removing the floor and sides ever since.

Next up a brand new coat of swimming pool -- concrete and tiles.

Followed by a top-to-bottom cleaning and shining up until it's spick and span.

Right now it looks so gross, but when it's done it will be awesome again.

Can't wait--I need my laps and hydrotherapy. ;-)

Lauding Over A Toilet Brush?

Not sure about this video on the SimpleHuman Toilet Brush

On one hand, it's funny to have such a serious video lauding the functionality and design of a toilet brush.

But on the other hand, the video is pretty darn convincing:

- Slim for easy placement and accessible for quick use.

- A magnetic collar for picking up the brush and housing with one hand--no messy spills.

- With a stainless steel rod for stability and durability.

- Specially innovative design crescent-shaped brush for those hard to reach areas under the rim.

- Easily detachable brush for when you need replacement.

- Comes in black and white--so fashionable.

Ok, so now I have to admit that I ordered one of these today.

I'll let you know if it really works (Uh no!) ;-)

Happy Mother's Day To My Very Feminist Wife

Just want to wish my lovely wife a very happy Mother's Day.

My wife is a big feminist!

She doesn't like to do too much cooking, cleaning, laundry etc.

More for good 'ol hubby--me--to do.

For example, today I am painting my daughter's room.

I did the heavy lifting on this.

Now my wife and daughter and doing the corners and touch up.

Hey, it's all in a day's work for a modern-day husband.

But I love my wife and family.

Even if there's a little more for me to share in. ;-)

iRobot For Your Windows

A Chinese company, Ecovacs, has developed a robot that cleans your windows--and it looks quite like an iRobot that cleans your floors.

You spray the cleaning pad, attach it to your window, and it senses that boundaries of the window and calculates a path to clean them.

The spray pad wipes them, the squeegee collects dampness, and another wipes it dry.

There are multiple safety features including dual suction rings, a safety pod with a tether, and an alarm if Winbot runs into problems.

The spray pads once used can be removed, washed, and dried for another cleaning run.

I like Winbot as long as it is just cleaning windows and not also looking in the window and listening to what you are doing to gain competitive advantages in a cyberspace that these days, knows few, if any, security bounds. ;-)
