Great Door Knocker

Nice solid brass door knocker.

They don't make these like they used to.

More character than a bell any day of the week.

Knock, knock!  ;-)

Door To Fantasyland

Wow, check out this door.

It looks like out of some kid's book where the character disappears into some complete fantasyland.

Maybe this could be the entrance for the movie, Willie Wonka and The Chocolate Factory (although it doesn't look very chocolatey).

And if you're high as a kite, this will fit right into your psychedelic visions for yourself.

Wherever this door takes you, it's gotta be good (if not a little nauseous too).

The Red Door

Wow, this is such a cool door.

Love the red.

Love the spikes on the door.

Would like a little tougher handle on this.

But overall that's a door!  ;-)

G-d Holds All The Keys

So what is there to fear in this world.

Whatever happens, happens.

And G-d is the master over it all.

He holds all the keys.

G-d opens doors.

When we are being challenged, look toward the Heavens.

There is a door there somewhere.

What can ANY man do to us?

When G-d reigns over ALL men.

In G-d, there is salvation and mercy.

G-d will watch over His people.

And He will bless them in peace! ;-)

See It Change

This was a pretty cool effect at this hotel (The Sonesta) in Fort Lauderdale, where we stopped to cool off for a few minutes.

In the lobby, they have these wavy lines over the entire walls and doors where you come in.

But what is even better is that the lines change color.

Here you can see three pictures of a door in the lobby.

One minute they are pink, next orange, and then yellow.

The funny thing is I barely noticed it when I was there.

It is was such a subtle change.

Maybe that's the way to make change really take in your life--incrementally, rather than violently and abruptly.

Then instead of withdrawal and personal convulsions, you have a new and hopefully better you! ;-)
