Virtual Car Driving Into Garage
On the ramp into the garage is a cute wall mural of a car.

With the wires, it's look like a plug-in electric vehicle.
Go ahead, drive it on down.
Good luck finding a spot.
Take a ticket and stop to pay at the machine before you head out.

All The Presidents Men
Is the lady in the center going to be the first female president or who will it be?

Colorful City Living Wall Mural
Great colorful city living wall mural.
This is a snippet from a larger mural at a local kosher eatery.
Houses, people, cars, water, flowers, and trees.
Happy pappy and nicely done! ;-)

My Merkava
Ah, it finally came.
My new wall hanging of a Merkava IV tank.
This is a large 47x36 photo print on aluminum and weights about 8 pounds.
I have it hanging proudly in my home.
To me, this is absolutely beautiful.
And did I say, I love it! ;-)

Street Art Wow
This mural on the side of a building in Philadelphia is just amazing.
It takes a regular street (even next to an abandoned lot) and makes it eye-popping.
Some people seem to walk by and not even notice.
I'm not sure how. ;-)

Wild Advertising Art
I took this photo of an ad for Milagro Tequila on the side of a tour bus in Washington, D.C.
Milagro ("Miracle") is a company that prides itself on it's collaboration with artists to create cool murals to advertise it's liquor.
Tequila is made from the sweet, fruity, blue agave plant from northwest Mexico, hence the writing over the mural saying, "Agave Expressionism."
It must be challenging to look out the windows of this tour bus covered in this very blue mural and messaging.
Why is this ad effective?
First, it is intense and exciting--the vibrant colors, the big mask with the bulging eyes, and the skulls with the green leafy stuff growing out of the head.
Second, it really is a work of art, and you wouldn't expect to see this on a regular tour bus shlepping around town.
Third, the cultural contrast between the Mexican artistic expressionism and the rest of the comparatively humdrum city life is standout.
Fourth, after a long hard day at work, people are tired, thirsty, and ready for some fun--so this is a welcome message.
Overall, this has the creativity and connection with the people to hit the mark--pretty neat. ;-)

Bomb Shelters For Kindergarten Children
Nitzan is home to about 600 families, mostly from Gush Katif, where more than 8,600 residents were evacuated and their homes demolished in Israel's unilateral disengagement from the Gaza Strip in 2005.
Now living in temporary plaster shelters in Nitzan, just north of the city of Ashkelon, these residents live in constant fear of terrorist and rocket attacks.
Two bomb shelters for their kindergarten classes have been erected.
In this photo, the children are painting murals on the bomb shelter.
It is heart-wrenching that little school children should need bomb shelters to hide in, because they are being targeted by deadly attackers.
What type of world are we living in?
The colorful pictures of water, fish, sand, starfish, clouds, and more is beautiful and serene in the face of the fear these children must face daily.
I have never seen a children's mural on a bomb shelter, but am grateful for the spirit of these kindergarten children to stand up in the face of evil.
The L-rd "who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep." (Psalm 121)
May these precious children sleep a little better under the protection of G-d and their new bomb shelters.

Money, Just Eat It
The mural was on what looked like a three story building.
Sandwiched between upscale stores for Kenneth Cole and Aldo--with for sale signs in the window.
The mural has these two guys who are literally holding, throwing, and eating money and luxury items like a fancy car.
The car in the middle of the street is in the process of a U-turn and seems to almost be driving right for the mural.
What's really crazy in Miami is the contrast of people on the very wealthy and very poor ends of the spectrum.
Lamborghinis with party-goers speeding down the street and homeless people camped out begging for some change.
While one is proverbially "eating and crapping money," the other is simply looking for something to eat.
This mural sort of tells the story of this great Floridian city.

A Technologist's Personal Rorschach Test
So I gave myself a little Rorschach test.
This was from a outdoor mural at school that I really liked.
I let my mind freely associate and had some fun too.
I could've gone on with this, but wanted to keep it clean.
Hope you like the mural and creativity.
If you had to do this exercise, I'd be curious to see what you came up with.
Have a good week!
