Does each color taste different?

Appetizing!  ;-)

Kung Fu Tea

Water - Blue

Green Tea - Green

Black Tea - Red with black in center

Oolong Tea - Yellow (from Camellia sinensis plant which has yellow in the center)

Color makes it taste better!

Hey, it sort of makes sense. ;-)

Peace Tea

Wow, cool packaging for Peace Tea.

The hands in the peace sign are holding the fruit flavor (peace, razzleberry, etc.).

Wonder if it tastes as good as it looks? ;-)

Food Child Abuse

There are many ways that children get abused.

This one was by food!

The parent was feeding their child a HUGE bag of Cheetos for breakfast.

The bag was fully ripped open down the middle, so it couldn't really be closed and nothing would be left anyway.

If that wasn't enough, on the airplane, the parent then gave the child 2 more bags of PopCorners.

Honestly, I felt bad for the kid(s), who seemed like good, sweet kids.

But this is not the way to teach them to eat without getting them sick.

Trying to judge people for the positive: maybe the parent thought they were doing something nice for the kid by letting them eat all these snacks--like a treat.

But honestly, this wasn't doing the child any favors, no matter what the flavors!  ;-)

I bet the tea tastes better from it any day of the week. ;-)

Taste Like Nothing

It's hot in the Florida sun, especially at the beach.

So, I was interested in ordering a cup of Thai bubble tea with Boba.

I ask the lady:
What does it taste like?
Lady answers:
The boba [taste] is like nothing!
I ask:
Can you put in a lot of boba?
She says:
Tea sweet, but no more boba.
I ask:
Why?
She tells me:
Because it's nothing.
I try again:
But if it's nothing, why can't you put in some more?
She says:
It's tapioca, but it taste like nothing and I can only put in a handful.
My final try:
Ok, give me some Thai tea with the boba in it.
Lady:
Are you sure? It tastes like nothing.
Me:
Yes, yes, yes.  I love boba with nothing taste, just make sure the tea is plenty sweet!
Like my dear dad used to say:

The food here is terrible, and on top of it the portions are too small!  ;-)

Ever Sit On A Cow

Ben and Jerry's has great ice cream and an earthy, peaceful decor.

This cow comes with child's seat is a good use of the store's "real estate."

Both country fresh milk from the cow and a kid-friendly environment too.  ;-)

Tower of Jelly Beans

Something about colorful Jelly Beans just makes us happy.

Candy sweet, bursting mix of flavors, and oh so chewy.

Need a handful, probably more!  ;-)

The Sniffer Isn't Working

Someone really had a premonition posting this sign before Covid!

The sign says simply:

Smell Me!!

The response to this now-a-days would be the person with Covid yelling back:

I can't smell (or taste) anything!

Now frustrated, the other person replies:

But please, please smell me.

Second person, tries and tries again:

Sniff, sniff--darn, the sniffer just isn't working.

Get out the smelling salts!

Six months later, I still can't smell a skunk in the same room.

What type of crazy pandemic is this!  ;-)

Meat On A Spit

Nothing like loads of meat roasting on the spit over a fire.

The fat drips and the meat is smoking and juicy hot.

Is it the animal in us or do we just know good food when we see it?

Schwarma or a BBQ, you can taste it!

And it hits the spot right on like nothing else can.  ;-)

Garden of 5 Senses

Garden of Five Senses in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

I hear it and I see it, but I can barely believe it.

I can touch it, and I can even taste it, but that's going too far.

I can smell it, but in a good way.  ;-)

It's Good To Know What You're Eating

Who knew what all these parts of the cow were called when we're in the butcher shop or supermarket?

Rump
Chuck
Shank
Prime Rib
Short Rib
Rib Eye
Tenderloin
Sirloin

I guess we don't waste much in a dog eat dog world!

The poor cow is tasty to eat, but what did she do to any of us? ;-)

Bowl Set Adorable

Wow, what an adorable bowl set.

Eat bowl has a part of the lady on it.

Stack them up and you see her in her red dress and blue hair.

Put them up in the wrong order and she may end up all messed up.

Either way the food will taste the same.  ;-)

Buy Right From The Start

This was a funny sign in an eatery:
Our tasting panel samples each item before we buy it.

And the picture is of the guy  ready to dig into the food.

There was another saying that I heard that I liked:
If you buy on price, you buy twice.

In other words, never just buy the lowest price item if you don't really like it, because in the end, you'll end up having to buy a replacement for the cheapo, crappo thing you really didn't like to begin with.

Better to save up and get what you really want to begin with.

A savvy shopper, indeed. ;-)

Chocolate Dreaming

Don't know about you but these looked pretty darn good at Costco.

"Chocolate Dream"

Chocolate cream, whipped cream, and chocolate cookie.

Now, how could that be bad?

Dreaming chocolate...

It reminds me of the other day when I saw someone daydreaming.

I said to him, "Are you okay?"

He replies, "I am far away!"

It sounded good, so I said, "Can you take me with you?"

Got a good laugh from him.  ;-)

Best Chicken Lo Mein (Kosher)

Best Chicken Lo Mein (Kosher too!) that I ever had.

At China Bistro and Sushi in Hollywood, Florida.

Order the extra chicken for a couple of bucks.

Well worth it!

Steaming hot from the wok.

And don't forget to make it extra spicy!  ;-)

On Taste And Smell

Just wanted to share this saying (translated from Hebrew) that I like:
On taste and smell, there is no argument.

What tastes or smells good or bad to one person versus another is not up for debate.

Each person has their own taste buds and odor senses.

Some people may be more or less sensitive to different tastes and smells.

So there is no arguing there.

You either like or you don't like.

That's your prerogative!

Don't make a big stink about it. ;-)

Out of Control Ice Cream

I'm not sure how you control yourself around this Alpaca Ice Cream.

But somehow I managed not to get any...this time.

I promise!

LOL

These are made with fresh hot waffles wrapped around your choice of ice cream and toppings.

As you can see these are pretty big and scrumptious!

Anyway, they have a store in Rockville and I absolutely must stay away from it.

Oh, maybe I just go in once for a taste.  ;-)

Best Cup Of Tea

So my daughter went out for dinner in Israel and she sends me this photo of an amazing cup of tea.

- Cinnamon

- Lemon

- Ginger

- Mint

What's so great is you can actually see the cinnamon stick, mint leaves, and lemon and ginger slices.

It's completely fresh and healthy, and not just from a tea bag or minced up tea in a tin.

To me, this looks absolutely appetizing and delicious!

Usually, I'm a Snapple Iced Tea type of a guy, but for sure, I'd go for some this fresh tea from Israel...L'Chaim! ;-)

Honey Chicken Delicious

Just wanted to share this amazing honey chicken.

Yes, I know you can't eat it, but you can imagine what it tastes like.

Had this at L'Chaim Asian Cuisine and Steak House in Hollywood, Florida.

Absolutely to die for!

That was a lot of honey over the dark crispy chicken.

It's been a few months and I still haven't been able to get it out of my mind.

That is quite a recommendation I would say.

See you there! ;-)
