Nice Vase

Looks like this vase came straight from the Holy Land.

Tall and slender.

Very beautiful!  ;-)

Tefillin and Talit Bag

This is my new Tefillin and Talit bag for daily morning prayers.

It even has a beautiful siddur (prayer book) inside and my Hebrew name on the outside.

I just wanted to thank my wonderful family for this and especially, my son-in-law, Itzchak for ordering this for me from Israel.

I love it, and thank you guys so much!

Shabbat Candle Holders with Gorgeous Flowers

These are our new Shabbat candlestick holders.

So colorful, and full of nature and life, and it makes me happy.

I just wanted to give a callout to Mira (Pinki) Krispil from Ashdod, Israel who makes this beautiful artwork.

Her expertise is in using polymer clay and glass and making it very special.

You can find her Mira's wonderful work on Etsy.

Enjoy and Shabbat Shalom!

Happy Hamsa

I took this photo in the local Judaica store.

It is a Hamsa--a palm-shaped amulet symbolizing the hand of G-d--and it is supposed to bring good luck, blessing, and protection.

This particular hamsa was decorated in a more homey flower theme, which made it different and interesting from the others that I have seen which are traditionally either deep blue with a single watchful eye or others that are multi-colored and jeweled.

This hamsa should bring us all good fortune and much happiness. ;-)

Hippie Bus Menorah

I took this photo today of a Menorah made on the top of a VW Bus.

Inside, the bus still had the seats, and outside it had these cute Hippie flower pedals.

It was unique, fun, colorful, nostalgic and it rolls.

Plus you can fulfill the commandment (mitzvah) of lighting candles at Chanukah time.

What a novel piece of Judaica--love it! ;-)
