That's a Hairdo

Wow you can get your hair all spiky and tall.

And choose your color: blue, pink, or yellow.

Who doesn't want to have that much hair again.  ;-)

GameStop Is Going Nowhere

This is what GameStop is selling.

- Wrestling Buddies dolls

Cute, but not really a shopping imperative and the store was deserted.

Yet, GameStop stock is still stratospheric, while tech and innovation is in the graveyard depths.

The world is upside down and inside out.

I think a day of reckoning is coming to bring us back to earthly reality.  ;-)

Choose A Doll

Choose a doll, any doll.

Unfortunately, these remind me of Stephen King's Children of the Corn.

Watch out grown ups, they're coming for yoooou! ;-)

A Doll For Every Worry

Some kids put their baby teeth under their pillow for the tooth fairy.

But in Guatemala they make Worry Dolls that children can put under their pillows, so they can be released from their worries and sleep better.

If those were my worry dolls, I wouldn't put them under my pillow and have a lumpy sleep and wake up to them once again, but rather I would throw them out the window, so hopefully they would be gone for good.

Man, if only we could really get rid of our worries and problems that easily--I think they call it transference! ;-)

Happy Hebrew Anniversary

Today, I found out from my sister-in-law, Cheryl, that my wife's favorite doll as a child was a Raggedy Ann doll that she always carried around with her.

(I'm the last to find out these things...)

She wrote isn't is funny that Raggedy Ann married Andy?

She ended with, "Is it odd or is it G-d?"

I think it must be both that we survived each other. ;-)

Happy Hebrew Anniversary to my wife!

Read My Shirt

They remind me of Ethel and Fred from I Love Lucy.

Do you think that there are any couples out there that this rings true for?

Maybe just a few, right. ;-)

Cafe Barbie Debuts 2013

What an awesome idea for a cafe that can appeal to girls and women worldwide--a Barbie Cafe.

It opened in Taiwan last week and it is licensed by Mattel the founder of Barbie dolls (1959).

At 7,100 square feet and with $1.7 million dollars of investment, you get a lot of Barbie ambience--especially plenty of pink and frills (and calorie counting).

While some women may be turned off to the girlie stigma of a Barbie Cafe, there are probably many others who are enchanted with the dreamy image it bring from childhood and the ability to express a certain femininity, the Barbie way.

My prediction--in the near future, there is going to be a Ken Cafe opening up right across the street. ;-)
